China Chengtong and China Merchants Bank Signed Strategic Cooperation Agreement

??On December 12, China Chengtong and China Merchants Bank signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing. The signing ceremony was witnessed by Xi Zhengping, Chairman of China Chengtong; Tong Laiming, Deputy General Manager of China Chengtong; Wang Liang, President of China Merchants Bank; and Cui Jiakun, President of the Beijing Branch. Li Zheng, Director of China Chengtong, and Lei Caihua, Deputy President of China Merchants Bank, signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.

??Prior to the signing ceremony, the two sides held discussions. Xi Zhengping extended a warm welcome to Wang Liang and his delegation, reviewing the history of cooperation between the two parties. He noted that China Merchants Bank is a key high-quality partner of China Chengtong, and the two have maintained a strong cooperative relationship over the years. He expressed his hope that China Merchants Bank would continue to leverage its innovative strengths and enhance cooperation with China Chengtong in financial services, fund investment, and technological innovation, aiming to set a new benchmark for collaboration between central enterprises.

??Wang Liang expressed gratitude for the long-standing trust and support from China Chengtong and stated that China Merchants Bank is committed to leveraging its resource advantages to provide comprehensive and integrated financial services to support the strategic development of China Chengtong. He looked forward to further refining cooperation in areas such as bond issuance, fund investment, and treasury construction, expanding the scope of collaboration to achieve mutual development and success.

??According to the agreement, both parties will deepen cooperation in diversified financial services, including comprehensive credit facilities, bond underwriting, wealth management, custody, treasury construction, and digital intelligence services. Together, they will explore new models of collaboration between state-owned capital operating companies and commercial banks, striving for high-quality development.

??The event was attended by senior leadership at the assistant general manager level, heads of relevant departments at the headquarters, and leaders from Chengtong Securities and Chengtong Finance, as well as relevant representatives from the head office and Beijing branch of China Merchants Bank.
